Supporting the Tumbler Ridge Community
Dear Members,
As many of you may know, the community of Tumbler Ridge was shaken by a tragic mass shooting in February. In small towns like Tumbler Ridge, events like this impact both victims’ families and the whole community.
Our Legion family stands together in times like these.
Royal Canadian Legion BC/Yukon Command has asked Branches across the province to help support Royal Canadian Legion Branch 286 and the local community as they work through the aftermath of this tragedy.
Branch 256 is assisting by launching a donation campaign through ZEFFY, where members and supporters can contribute if they wish.
All funds collected will be administered by BC/Yukon Command, who will distribute the funds to the Tumbler Ridge Legion and community as needs arise and requests are made. This ensures that support reaches the community where it is needed most — whether that be assistance for families, community healing initiatives, or other urgent needs.
